Announcing New Additions to Bakehouse Board of Directors Christopher Carter & Kevin V. Michael

Bakehouse is excited to announce two new additions to our Board of Directors, Christopher Carter and Kevin Michael…

Christopher Carter is an educator, a seasoned animator and storyboard artist, as well as a highly regarded sculptor of reclaimed and repurposed found materials. “I am thrilled to join the Bakehouse Board as a working artist, former resident artist, and a resident of Wynwood Norte. This is an exciting time for the organization and the community in which it is embedded, “ commented Christopher Carter.

Kevin V. Michael is the Founder & CEO of Invizio, a South Florida-based IT services and solutions firm catering to the operational IT needs of small and midsize businesses, nonprofits, and K-12 schools. Reflecting on his decision to join the Board of Directors at Bakehouse, Kevin shared, “I decided to get involved with Bakehouse because I am truly passionate about art and its capacity as a transformative tool... I'm excited to support the very important work of uplifting and democratizing opportunity for emerging artists but also to play a role in the reimagining of what a community arts institution can and should be.”
