Bakehouse artist Morel Doucet is participating in several group exhibitions across the country. In Philadelphia, Morel is participating in two group exhibitions: Queens, Gods, and Devotees, on view now through December 15th at  the Maguire Museum of Art at St. Joseph's University; and Shared Vision: Portraits from The CCH Pounder-Koné Collection, on view now through March 2nd  at the African American Museum.

Morel is also participating in the group exhibition HOMO SARGASSUM, on view now at the Richard Fallon Theatre and Museum of Fine Arts at Florida State University. The exhibition will be on view through March 8, 2025.

Lastly, Morel’s work is also featured in Fragile Beauty: Art of the Ocean, a group exhibition at the Hillwood Museum and Gardens in Washington, DC. The exhibition will be on view through January 5, 2025. 

Bakehouse artist Jenna Efrein is participating in the group exhibition Hot Glass, opening on Saturday, October 19th from 6pm to 9pm at Cornell Art Museum in Delray Beach. The exhibition will be on view through March 2nd.

Bakehouse artist  GeoVanna Gonzalez is participating in MCA Denver’s exhibition Movements Towards Freedom, on view through February 2nd. GeoVanna’s work is also featured in Nuyorican and Diasporican Visual Art: A Critical Anthology. The book is now available for preorder, use the promo code E25NYRCN for a 30% discount on your order.

GeoVanna is currently seeking dancers and musicians for a performance of her work Flowing Pathways, set to be shown at MOAD on December 6th from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. If you are interested in participating, please submit the interest form linked here.

Bakehouse artist Monica Lopez de Victoria is participating in the solo exhibition ///HEAT///WAVE/// at mtn space in Lake Worth, Florida. Join Monica for the opening reception on November 9th, from 6 to 8pm.

Bakehouse artist Cici McMonigle will be participating in a solo exhibition at the NSU Art Museum in Fort Lauderdale, titled Cici McMonigle: Creatures for the Divine. The exhibition will open on November 16th and will be on view through April 27th.

Bakehouse artist Nicole Salcedo has a public art installation currently on view at MOCA North Miami, as part of their Art on the Plaza series. The installation is entitled Earth Gate and will be on view through January 2025.

Bakehouse artist Smita Sen will be performing Rituals of Sacred Surrender during Miami Art Week at Art Basel Miami Beach. Sen is also participating in a solo exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) North Miami, entitled Smita Sen: Embodied. The exhibition will be opening on November 6th.

Bakehouse artist  Lauren Shapiro is participating in a solo exhibition entitled Pastiche, on view at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens beginning October 23rd.
