Bakehouse artists Luján Candria, Gabriela Gamboa, and Adler Guerrier are featured in Adopted Landscapes, a group exhibition co-curated by Marina Font and Dina Mitrani at Collective 62. The exhibition includes twenty-two photo-based artists that push the boundaries of the photographic landscape. Opening Thursday, September 15 from 5 - 9 pm, this show will be on view through Tuesday, November 15.

Bakehouse artist Amalia Caputo curated and is featured in the group exhibition Headspace: Amalia Caputo, Janice Sloane, Eugenia Vargas Pereira and Michelle Weinberg at La Plataforma Espai d'Art in Barcelona, Spain through Friday, September 16. She is also featured in Atlas inconcluso de un paisaje en proceso, a group exhibition curated by Manuel Vazquez at Abra Caracas in Caracas, Venezuela through Monday, September 18.

 Bakehouse artist Autumn Casey is the current featured artist for MoCA’s Art of the Plaza series. Her sculptural installation, Clint and April, creates a tender space for the contemplation of beauty, love, ideas of worship, and familial bonds. On Friday, September 23, guests are invited to an intimate performance featuring the artist, and her father, Clint Casey.

Bakehouse artist Adler Guerrier’s solo exhibition, Field Guide--Vini kouzen, map mennen'w!, is on view from Friday, September 16 through Saturday, October 29 at the espace d'art contemporain 14N61W in Fort-de-France, Martinique. He is also featured in a two-person show, Nested in a Place of Becoming, at Kunsthalle Tbilisi in Tbilisi, Georgia from Thursday, September 22 through Wednesday, October 26, and in a group exhibition, Dust Specks on the Sea: Contemporary Sculpture from the French Caribbean & Haiti, at the Villa du Parc in Annemasse, France through Sunday, September 18. The latter exhibition also features the work of Bakehouse Board Member Edouard Duval-Carrié and Bakehouse artists Michelle Lisa Polissaint and Najja Moon.

Bakehouse artist Nicole Maynard is now the Education Programs Manager at the Institute of Contemporary Art Miami (ICA). She is writing for the new online gallery guide, Xzib. Nicole is participating in the group exhibition, Waves, at the Arts Warehouse in Delray Beach in conjunction with Delray Beach Climate & Art Weekend. The exhibition is on view through Saturday, October 29.  

Bakehouse artist and current artist-in-residence at The Deering Estate Mateo Serna Zapata is presenting a multi-disciplinary performance and exhibition on Saturday, September 24, from 2:30 - 6:30 pm. For more information and to RSVP, access this link.
