Resident organization Bookleggers Library invites you to attend some of their upcoming events:

On Sunday, May 7 from 11 am - 5:30 pm, Bookleggers will be participating in the Little Haiti Book Festival! The Festival will take place inside the Little Haiti Cultural Complex

On Saturday, May 20 from 2 - 4 pm, Bookleggers will be participating in Family Day at the Underline, giving out free children's books out of the Bookbike.

On Friday, May 26 from 4 - 6 pm, Bookleggers will be riding the bookbike and giving out books at the Underline in front of the Brickell Station entrance for “Piano at the Underline” series, featuring Alejandro Quevedo on the keys.

ArtDeli presents BLUE CHIPS, a group exhibition, and fundraiser featuring small works by local and national artists at Club Gallery from May 5 - 12. The opening reception is Friday, May 5 from 6 - 10 pm.

ArtDeli is a curatorial project created by artist Philip Lique. Each Deli activation is an unconventional art exhibition that combines communal food experiences with the deliberate destruction and distribution of unique art pieces.

Bakehouse artist Maritza Caneca is participating in a group show, Cycles : The Stages of Motherhood, at MIFA Gallery, on view from May 4 - 31. The opening reception will take place on Thursday, May 4 from 6 - 9 pm.


Bakehouse artist Luján Candria will present her solo exhibition En el amoroso pantano de las hojas secas de otoño curated by Dina Mitrani and Marina Font at Miami Beach Botanical Garden from May 18 - July 17. The opening reception will take place on Thursday, May 18 at 6 pm.

Bakehouse artist Shawna Moulton’s debut solo exhibition WEH MI GET IT FROM is on view at Laundromat Art Space from April 22 - May 13.


Bakehouse artist Moira Holohan was one of the twelve artists selected for the 2023 South Florida Cultural Consortium Fellowship, which is awarded to resident visual and media artists from the counties of Broward, Martin, Miami-Dade, Monroe, and Palm Beach.

Moira’s work will be featured in the South Florida Cultural Consortium exhibition at MOCA on view from May 10 - October 1. The opening reception is Thursday, May 10 from 7 - 9 pm.
