Info Session: Summer Open 2022

Join us for an info session with Bakehouse Art Complex staff members Laura Novoa and Ricardo Mor and Summer Open 2021 alumni and current studio resident Carolina Casusol to discuss Summer Open and answer questions related to the program.

Summer Open offers free space to artists working in any medium. Turning its 2500 sq. ft. gallery into a communal studio, the program provides artists with a place to work and an opportunity to foster relationships and engage with Bakehouse’s community of artists. We are currently accepting applications through Monday, April 18, 2022 at 5:00pm EST. To apply, click here.

Summer Open will run from Monday, June 20 – Friday, September 9, 2022. Artists will be selected by a jury of artists and cultural professionals. Artists are expected to bring their own materials and anything they need to create their work. Selected artists will receive 24/7 access to the space.
