Join us Bakehouse Art Complex at The Underline for the last Family Day of the season! The event, which occurs every third Saturday of the month, is a day full of exploration and learning. This month, get ready for summer with hands-on, art-making activities designed by our artists. 

This event is free to the public, but RSVP is encouraged.

Participating artists

Using old magazines, buttons, and paint, artist Maria Theresa Barbist (Website) will guide you in the creation of a collage to celebrate the summer. This activity will take you on a journey to different countries, exploring new cultures and creating new memories!

Join artist Gabriela Garcia (Website) in transforming elements like wooden blocks and figurines into places and characters of your own, for an open-ended experience of play that considers ideas of collaboration and growth!

Artist Moira Holohan (Website) will help you create colorful, spring-inspired pop-up cards with a surprising 3-D effect perfect for gifting to someone special.

Create a print with flower motifs with artist Pati Monclus (Instagram) by pressing different and unexpected materials damp with paint into a piece of paper and then decorating the background using oil pastels.
